I.  Positive / Negative
(for the beginning Foundation piecer).  
A three-block wall hanging utilizing 2 fabrics with         
border.  Newsprint will be our foundation.                    
Finished wallhanging measurers 20" x                         
43".  6 hours class.  $35.00 each student.  Kits           
available at additional cost.

II.  A New Twist on an Old Favorite
(for the intermediate Foundation piecer)
Three blocks will be constructed including:
New York Beauty
Melon
Poppies
Newsprint will be our foundation.  6 hour class.            
$35.00 each student, includes patterns.  Kits              
available at $21.00.

III.  Tree Skirt
(for the beginning Foundation piecer)
Using Dan's Holiday Star pattern, a 60"                       
Christmas Tree Skirt will be constructed.  6 hour         
class.  $60.00 each student, includes pattern.             
Kits available at additional cost.


IV.  Cosmos
(for the beginning Foundation piecer)
Using Dan's Cosmos Lone Star pattern, an 84" by      
97"  quilt will be constructed.  6 hour class.  $65.00     
each student, includes pattern.  Kits available at         
additional cost.




V.  Michigan Snowflakes
(for the intermediate Foundation piecer)
Using Dan's new book (due out in late August, 2011)
Michigan Snowflakes, we will be constructing one of
seven projects.  6 hour class.  $35.00 each student,  
pattern cost is $15.00.  Book will be offered to
students at a 50% discount when available.

purchase on-line copy from Quiltmaker.  $5.00

I.  The History of Foundation Piecing
Dan's background is given, a brief history of
Foundation Piecing,  and discussion of quilters who
have made foundation piecing a more popular
medium for quilting.  A show of approximately 25
quilts.


II.  Types of Foundation Piecing
Dan's background is given, a brief history of              
 Foundation Piecing, a show-and-tell of the                
 types of media used to foundation piece, such          
 as:
 
a.  Tissue paper
b.  Freezer paper
c.  Newsprint
d.  20 pound paper (regular old copy paper)
A show of approximately 25 quilts.
